Effective Monday morning, the Stone Mills Fire Department has issued a full fire ban. All outside fires are prohibited including fireworks in accordance with By-Law 2015-810. Current and forecasted weather conditions have resulted extreme wildland fire hazard conditions.
Failure to comply with the fire ban may result in fines to those who set a fire. The fire department will continue to monitor conditions and advise of any changes to the ban.
