Just before 8 p.m. on Sunday officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP responded to a report of a head on collision on Hwy 49 just south of Old Hwy 2, in Tyendinaga Township.
A car travelling southbound collided with a pickup truck that was traveling northbound in the northbound lane. Both vehicles only had one occupant. The driver of the car sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital by paramedics. The driver of the pick-up truck was uninjured.
The investigation remains ongoing by L&A OPP and the charges are pending.
