Police investigating early morning home invasion and assault in Sandhurst Shores

Officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP are investigating a home invasion at a residence on Elmwood Boulevard, in Shandhurst Shores.

On Thursday, March 21, shortly after 3 a.m., four individuals forced their way in to the home. One of the occupants was assaulted, resulting in minor injuries.

The four individuals fled with several items from the home.

Officers conducted a search, but could not locate the individuals or a vehicle.

The men are described only as wearing masks and there is no description of the vehicle they were in.

Investigators believe there is no risk to public safety, but people in the area should report any suspicious people or activity.

Investigators are currently in the area canvasing for witnesses and surveillance video.

To assist in the investigation, the police are requesting the public’s assistance in providing any available video footage from home/business security systems, vehicle dash cameras or any other sources from the areas of Highway 33 between County Roads 8 and 21 and between the hours of 2:30 AM to 4:30 AM on March 21st, 2024 should upload it using this secure evidence submission portal:
