The Napanee Peewee BB Crunch beat the Clarington Flames 4-1 in exhibition play. Kristen Sutton lead the way with two goals and two assists.
Claire McConnell also had a goal and two assists while Neeligh-Raye Ford had a goal and an assist. Other assists went to Chloe Davey, Kaya Richardson and Alaina Holmes. Keyra Herrington earned the win in goal.
The regular season kicks off this Saturday in Clarington.
–The Peewee B Crunch lost a tough 2-1 exhibition game to the Frontenac Fury on Saturday.
The Crunch jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Claire Whitney, but the Fury battled back hard with a goal in the first and the game winner late in the third period. Savannah Mumby was solid in net for the Crunch.
