Greater Napanee Emergency Services firefighters responded to a working structure fire Wednesday in a Donald Street apartment with reports of people trapped inside the burning building.
Those inside were able to escape with no harm upon the arrive of GNES fire units. Upon entry the fire crew cleared all units and located and extinguished a fire in two locations. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
