Nolan Lane turned away all 15 shots he saw as the Picton Pirates closed out the Frankford Huskies with a 4-0 win on home ice, clinching their Tod Division quarter-final series four games to one.
With the win the Pirates advance to meet to the Napanee Raiders in the division’s best-of-seven semifinals, which gets underway Tuesday in Napanee. Puck drop, as well as the remainder of the series schedule, is yet to be confirmed.

The last time these two met in the playoffs was in 2020, when the Raiders held a 2-0 series lead in the division finals before Hockey Canada paused all game action in response to the emerging COVID-19 pandemic. The series would never be resumed and the rest of the playoffs were scrapped, as was the following season.

Meanwhile in the other division bracket, the Amherstview Jets will square off against the Port Hope Panthers. The Panthers advanced after defeating the Campbellford Rebels in five games.
