Four new COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday, active count at 24

On Tuesday KFLA Public Health announced four new COVID-19 cases, bringing the active case count to 24.

The four most recent cases were a male between the ages of 40-49, a female age 19 and under and two males age 19 and under. Each of the most recent cases were a close contact with a previously known case.

KFLA Public Health has reported at least one new daily COVID-19 case for the last two weeks. Though there has been a steady number of cases reported of late, the region is still shy of the 40 active cases it saw on March 31, which remains the highest number of active cases reported in the region.

As of Tuesday afternoon none of the current cases required a stay in the hospital. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is 156 while 132 had been resolved with no deaths.

KFLA remains under a yellow community status.
