Britt Benn and her Canadian Rugby Sevens teammates are off to a strong start at the Tokyo Olympic games, posting a 33-0 victory over Brazil to open the tournament.

Benn was subbed into the game in the second half and immediately made her presence known with two defensive tackles-CBC’s broadcast referred to her as a ‘bruiser’ with good reason. She helped seal the win by setting up a pair of tries late in the game. After a somewhat slow start to the game, Canada turned it on late with three tries in the final half.

Canada will next take on Fiji in just over five hours at 3:30 a.m. eastern time.

They’ll close out pool play tomorrow evening at 8:30 p.m. against France.
