Just over a week remains until the Aug. 19 deadline for candidates to register for Greater Napanee’s 2022 municipal election.
As it stands right now, current Ward 2 councillor Terry Richardson is running unopposed for mayor.
A pair of candidates are registered in the race for deputy mayor with current Ward 1 councillor John McCormack running against Brian Calver.
Ward 1 has just one name on the ballot at present in Tony Balasevisius.
Ward 2 is a race between Terry Cook and Les Humphries.
Ward 3’s ballot includes incumbent Dave Pinnell Jr. as well as John South and Don Stokes.
Ward 4 sees incumbent Bob Norrie on the ballot as well as Josh Hayter and Jeff Chestnut.
Registered for Ward 5 is incumbent Ellen Johnson as well as Casey Wells and Bill Martin.
