The Napanee U15 Stars punched their ticket to the OMHA Playoff Final Weekend in Barrie to be held April 7-9 with a convincing 5-1 win in Stirling. They led early on as Wyatt Albright got the first of his four goals. Luc Asselstine gained an assist on the play. Just past the four minute mark of the first period, Albright got his second tally. In the second frame, Asselstine would get one of his own on a setup by Devon Robinson, before Albright added two more, the first of which was assisted by Kohen Cutler. Their hosts would spoil goalie Jackson Godfrey’s shutout bid, but not their perfect 4-0 playoff run so far. This follows the squad’s 26-0-0 record in league play.

Meanwhile, the U18 Stars will play an exhibition home and home with Tweed while they await their Weekend playoffs in Barrie starting March 31. The home exhibition game will be Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Strathcona Paper Centre.
