Sarah Difazio of the Jac Severin Mortgages U13 Napanee Express connects on a sharply hit ball during Saturday’s game against the East Gwillimbury Rise, part of the PWSA U13 Qualifier, held in Napanee this weekend. The Express were able to hang on for a win in this rollercoaster battle, defeating the Rise 13-11. That win was a nice rebound for the Express who opened the tournament with a 17-4 loss to Mississauga North. The Express were eliminated from the double knockout tournament with a 21-4 loss to Brampton. The Vaughan Vikings would go on to claim the top spot at the tournament.
