Two new cases of COVID-19 confirmed by KFLA Public Health

KFLA Public Health reported two new positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday afternoon, bringing the total number of active cases to three.

The health unit says the two new cases are connected, stating one male and one female, both in their 20s, tested positive after travelling outside the KFLA region. The health unit says the event is low-risk to the community as both are now home and self isolating and being monitored by the region’s contract tracing team.

The two latest cases brings the total number of confirmed cases in this region to 108 since the start of the pandemic, 105 of which have recovered with no deaths.
