Greater Napanee’s Public Works announced Friday the bridge on Herrington Road (located off Drive-In Road and connecting to Gerow Road) has been closed permanently effective immediately.
Due to the recent higher volumes of traffic on Herrington Road crossing the bridge, the condition of the bridge is insufficient to allow traffic to pass over it. The Town’s Public Works department has barricaded the bridge with concrete barriers and signage to keep vehicles off it.
