Three new COVID-19 cases reported in KFLA on Monday

Three new COVID-19 cases were reported in KFLA on Monday, offset by three recoveries to keep the active case count at six.

The local health unit says the new cases include a woman age 20-29 and a female age 30 to 39, both exposures under investigation. The third was a male age 20-29 who is believed to have contracted the virus from being within close contact of another known case.

The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic in the KFLA area is now at 179. Of those cases, 173 have recovered with no deaths. None of the active cases are listed as requiring a stay in the hospital.
