Team Horgan dropped its third straight match at the Canadian Men’s Olympic Curling Trials in Saskatoon, falling 8-4 to Team Epping on Wednesday night.

Napanee’s Scott Chadwick shot a team high 95 per cent as the Kingston-based rink attempted to rally after falling behind 7-1 through five ends. Horgan picked up a point in the sixth and two more in the eighth, but it wasn’t enough. The teams shook hands after the eighth end.

Team Horgan has three games left in the round robin. They’ll take on first place Team Gushue this afternoon at 3 p.m. eastern time.

On Friday they close out round robin play by facing Team Dunstone at 10 a.m. and Team Jacobs at 8 p.m. Team Horgan will need to win all three games for a shot at a top three finish, which would qualify them for Saturday’s playoffs.
