Napanee OPP arrested a man on Palace Road yesterday afternoon accused of pointing a firearm during a domestic dispute.
A 28 year-old male has been charged with pointing a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, careless use of a firearm, possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order three counts and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
The female victim left the area and waited at a safe location for police to arrive. The suspect, who was also wanted on a provincial offence committal warrant, was placed in custody and was scheduled to appeal at a bail hearing in Napanee provincial court today.
