Sharping their edge for the upcoming Andy McGarvey Tournament this weekend, the Napanee Calderwood Automation Bantam BB Stars had a solid week with three wins. Saturday facing Centre Hastings, they came out strong in a scoreless first frame. In the second, Spencer Cranley set up Jack Osborne for what proved to be the winner.  Cranley also tallied on a solid individual effort. Luc Amat sent Cranley in alone, and Osborne set up Cranley as well for a bar down goal. In the third, Cameron Pierson added a goal, as did Jacob Wood from Jayden Holden. Cranley did the rest of the damage with his fourth to make it 8-0.

Sunday in Madoc for the back half of the home-and-home series, the boys came away with a 10-1 victory.  Scoring were Osborne (four), Cranley (three), Aaron Storms, Gavin Brooks, and Amat. Earlier the Bantams defeated Stirling 3-0. Sam Rickard earned the shutout and allowed just one weekend goal.
