On Nov. 27, shortly before 9 p.m., officers with the Lennox and Addington County OPP responded to a family dispute in the Camden area of Stone Mills Township.
After officers arrived at the residence, a 16-year-old male was transported to hospital by ambulance. He was later released from the hospital into police custody and subsequently released.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
The OPP has notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU) which has invoked its mandate. As a result the OPP will not be able to provide any further information. Any other inquiries should be directed to the SIU Communications Coordinator monica.hudon@ontario.ca.
