Former deputy mayor of Centre Hastings Municipal Council, Shelby Kramp-Neuman has been nominated as the Conservative Party of Canada’s candidate for the riding of Hastings-Lennox and Addington in the next federal election.
Kramp-Neuman, the daughter of Hasting-Lennox and Addington’s MPP Daryl Kramp, will make an official announcement on July 5 at Greater Napanee’s Conservation Park at 9 a.m.
She joins incumbent Derek Sloan, who is running as an independent, and Liberal candidate Mike Bossio as the third confirmed name that will appear in the next federal election, which is currently scheduled for October 2023. There is speculation however it could occur much sooner.
