Greater Napanee’s virtual Hometown Market up and running

Greater Napanee’s virtual Hometown Market is officially launched and operates Wednesdays at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. out of Conservation Park.

There’s quite a large variety of vendors who will be present with goods ranging from fresh and dried herbs, to fresh produce, fair trade coffee, lotions and bath bombs, and so many other locally made products.  You can see the full list of vendors and products and can pre-order online through the virtual market

“We are excited to be working with FreshFind to launch the first ever virtual Greater Napanee Hometown Market,” commented Lyndsay Tee, the Greater Napanee’s manager of community economic development. “Our partnership will help our residents connect with their local producers and directly access fresh goods from the comfort of their home.”

FreshFind Inc. is a digital commerce ecosystem for goods and experiences that improve human well-being. FreshFind offers omnichannel technology tools that help small, independent producers and markets to start, manage, and grow their operations. By increasing efficiency and collaboration of local commerce networks, FreshFind aims to offer consumption options that are more sustainable and lead to healthier and happier lives.

Working with the municipality, the hope is to help the market and its producers expand their offerings so that nearby residents can get better access to fresh, local goods.

“We are very keen on using our technology and services to help bolster the region’s economy and reduce any impacts of COVID-19 on the community. When local producers can connect with residents more directly to offer their fresh, local goods, then everybody wins.” said James Jun, FreshFind Inc. co-founder.
