I do not know who came up with the asinine idea for a change in our garbage system, but very little thought was put into the effect it would have on many citizens.
Like myself, there are many seniors and others living on their own. Most of us need one bag tag every three or four weeks. Therefor 25 tags every six months is unneeded. I’ve seen nothing about refunds for unused bag tags.
Many are on fixed incomes, the extra expense along with other increases is a hardship.
I would prefer the town look into a green waste disposal system. Thinking about our future generations.
