A pair of females in their 20s were reported to have tested positive for COVID-19, as reported by KFLA Public Health on Wednesday.
One of the cases is a health care worker with the possible cause of infection under investigation. The second case was listed as travel related.
The health unit also announced the outbreak at Amherstview’s Helen Henderson Care Centre that was declared on Oct. 28 has officially been declared over. The outbreak was declared after a staff member and resident at the home tested positive for the virus.
The total number of active cases in the region is now up to 15 and the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic is now at 199.
