Resolve is restarting its Women Supporting Women Drop In Group.
Meetings will be held at 417 Bagot St. in Kingston and are open to women in the surrounding Kingston, L&A County and Hastings County area.
The group is a free, confidential and supportive drop-in opportunity for women-identified individuals, aged 16+, who have experienced any form of intimate partner violence or unhealthy relationships, past or present. This group is facilitated by a counsellor from Resolve’s Women’s Counselling Program, who is available to help answer questions, provide support and connect participants with additional services where needed.
The group will begin in April, with the first two dates being April 9 at 10 a.m. and April 25 at 6 p.m. It will be running twice a month on the second Tuesday and fourth Thursday of each month, with both a day time and evening group in the hopes of being available to more people.
