There will be a Full Mainline Nightly Closure of Highway 49 at the Bay of Quinte Skyway Bridge from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec, 13 to 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec, 14.
In case of poor weather conditions, additional closures will take place on Dec. 14 to Dec. 15.
The closures are intended for the installation of the Modular Expansion Joint at the south abutment of the bridge. During these time periods the highway will be closed, and no traffic will be permitted to pass over the bridge. These closures are in addition to closures planned from Monday, Dec 5 to Friday, Dec. 9. The closures will take place every night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
