Napanee OPP are on the hunt for a male suspected of defrauding an elderly woman and are asking for the public’s assistance.
On Aug. 29 at approximately 9:11 a.m officers with the Napanee detachment of the OPP responded to a report of a fraud.
The victim, a 90 year old Napanee woman, received a telephone call from a male claiming to be a bank manager. The victim withdrew money from her bank and was approached by the male on the street shortly after, where the money was turned over to the male.
The suspect is described as a white male, average weight, approximately 50-years-old and six feet tall.
