Police issue arrest warrant for Napanee man after two people assaulted with a hammer on Dairy Ave.

Lennox and Addington OPP are seeking the public's help to locate Joseph Badour in connection with an assault that took place Sept. 4 on Dairy Ave.

The Lennox and Addington OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a wanted male after two people were assaulted.

Shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 4, 2022, officers responded to an assault that had occurred on Dairy Avenue in Napanee, in which two people were assaulted with a hammer.

The accused fled on a bicycle and was not located.

One victim was treated for injuries in hospital and released. The other victim was not injured.

As a result of the investigation, an arrest warrant has been issued for Joseph Raymond James Badour, 43 years old, of Napanee for:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm – two counts
  • Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
  • Breach of recognizance

Badour was last seen wearing a blue-coloured hoodie and riding a white bicycle. He is described as:

  • Medium build
  • 6’1″ (186cm), 165lbs (75kg)
  • Short, blonde/auburn hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Unshaven face

Anyone who observes the accused or knows of his whereabouts, is urged to contact 911 immediately.
