The Napanee & District Chamber of Commerce is undertaking an ambitious ‘Meet your Candidates’ schedule in advance of the Oct. 24 municipal elections.
The chamber will be hosting events in the four townships of Lennox & Addington County that will include an informal meet-and-greet with all participating candidates, followed by a Q&A session.
Starting Monday Oct. 3 to Thursday Oct, 6 the Chamber will host the candidates for the question-and-answer style event in Stone Mills, Addington-Highlands, Loyalist and Napanee.
The Chamber is looking for ‘Questions that Count’ from business owners, employees, and residents of the community to be submitted. The questions will be asked randomly by a moderator the evenings of the event. Please indicate as to which township your question will apply. To submit questions for consideration, email the Chamber of Commerce before Sept. 30 at businessmanager@napaneechamber.ca.
Municipality representatives will also be on-site to clarify the voting process and ensure voters are registered.
