On Nov. 23 officers of the Lennox & Addington OPP began an investigation into an incident where a firearm was discharged at a residence on Isabella Street E in Greater Napanee.
The investigation thus far indicates that at roughly 7:52 AM on Nov. 22, a black pickup truck, thought to be a 2002 model Dodge Ram, black in colour, was seen on Isabella Street E in front of the residence. A loud noise, consistent with the sound of a firearm, was heard at the time. The pickup left the area immediately afterward. The vehicle of interest was captured on video nearby the scene.
The L&A County OPP’s Crime Unit is continuing the investigation and believe that there is no threat to public safety at this time.
Detectives are asking anyone with exterior video or photographic footage in the areas of Isabella Street E or other nearby streets to review their cameras between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM on November 22, 2021 to see if the vehicle from the attached video clip / screen capture appears on their footage.
