Police charge man with criminal harassment, citing several ‘sexual in nature’ phone calls directed at local teens

On Aug. 22 officers of the Lennox and Addington OPP initiated an investigation into a report of a suspicious person.

During the months of June, July and August,  teenage staff that work at a business on Richmond Blvd received several phone calls that were sexual in nature. The caller then showed up in person on two occasions and made further sexual comments without purchasing any product.

As a result of the investigation on Sept. 8, police have arrested and charged Jander Allan Tully, age 25 of Killaloe Ont. and charged him with two counts of criminal harassment and failing to comply with release order

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

The investigation is ongoing by the LA County OPP Crime Unit and it is believed that there may be similar incidents in other areas. Police would like to speak to any person(s) that may have been a victim of harassment and/or have received phone calls of a sexual nature.  The accused is described as a white male, 5’6″, (173cm), 170 lbs (77kg), short straight black hair, brown eyes who wears glasses.
