Meadowbrook Farms U13 BB Crunch defeated the Burlington Barracudas with a thrilling 2-1-overtime victory on the weekend to capture bronze at the OWHA Provincial Championships.

In the first game of the tournament the U13s defeated Central York 2-0. The Crunch then breezed to 4-1 and 4-0 wins over Clearview and North Halton to complete the round robin undefeated. This secured them first overall in their pool and a spot in the quarter-finals Saturday evening. The BBs met Clarence Rockland in the quarters and were tied after three periods of play before heading to overtime. The game was decided on a penalty shot goal by Jocelyn Osborn, sending the Crunch to the semifinals on Sunday morning.

In the semi-final game, the U13s met a tough Sudbury team and lost a very close 3-2 game.
