OPP seek public’s help to identify person of interest in theft of utility trailer from Napanee’s Canadian Tire

Lennox and Addington OPP are looking to identify the person driving this vehicle which was used in the theft of a utility trailer from Napanee's Canadian Tire.

Members of the Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person(s) of interest in the theft of a utility trailer.

On March 4, 2024, just after 11 a.m., officers received a report from Canadian Tire in Napanee that one of their utility trailers had been stolen the previous night. The trailer was stolen on March 3, 2024, at approximately 8 pm from the north end of the store parking lot where it was locked up. The suspect vehicle backed up to the trailer, cut the lock off, and hooked up the trailer. The suspect vehicle then drove south through the parking lot with no trailer lights on past the gas station, and parked by the beer store. The suspect then secured the trailer and hooked up the lights. The suspect vehicle and trailer were last seen heading North on County Road 41.

Lennox and Addington OPP are looking to identify the person driving this vehicle which was used in the theft of a utility trailer from Napanee’s Canadian Tire.

Stolen was a True North 83-in x 16-ft tandem axle utility trailer, galvanized steel construction, and treated wooden floor. The vehicle is suspected to be a light-coloured (possibly white), larger-style SUV. Police are looking to talk to the owner/driver of this SUV.
