On June 20 at approximately 6:30 a.m. officers of the Lennox & Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and other emergency crews responded to a collision on Casey Road west of Shannonville Road in Tyendinaga Township.
L&A County OPP and the OPP Technical Collision Investigation (TCI) team closed Casey Road for several hours to investigate the collision. The vehicle was traveling on Casey Road when it lost control, rolling and coming to rest in the ditch. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene and has been identified as Robert Cole McFarlane, age 28 of Tyendinaga Township. The road re-opened later that day and the investigation is ongoing.
