The Lennox and Addington OPP are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision.
On Aug. 29 shortly after 11 a.m., officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Bridge Street West in Napanee. Officers were advised that a vehicle had driven into a concrete construction barrier and that the vehicle had then left the scene.
Officers located the vehicle a short distance away. The driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced deceased.
The identification of the deceased is being withheld pending notification to the family.
