One Book, One L&A County over the years

Hooked on Books

The countdown is on for our annual author event – this Sunday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m. you can meet Bryn Turnbull, author of The Last Grand Duchess, at our Amherstview branch library.

County of L&A Libraries have been hosting authors as part of our One Book, One Community reading program since 2104 (except for a brief hiatus due to COVID). The program supports reading, celebrates books and writing, promotes Canadian writers, and builds a sense of community through the shared experience of reading. One Book, One L&A encourages people in Lennox and Addington to read the same book, discuss it, attend an event, and meet the author. The book and author are announced annually in the spring with an author event planned for October. Here is a look at the selections over the years.
