The Napanee Crunch Novice B team travelled to Whitby this past Friday and Saturday to participate in the WGHA Tournament of Hero’s.  With a total of eight teams in the Novice B division, the Crunch faced off against teams from around the GTA including Oshawa, Whitby, Markham and North York.

This was the first tournament of the season for the girls and they were all smiles when they took the ice. Travelling and competing against the larger centres gave the team the opportunity to gain experience and show off their small town talent.

With the team’s number one goal being to have fun and try their best to be competitive, the girls certainly did this with smiles on their faces while shouting their Napanee cheers each time they took the ice.
