NDSS’ varsity girls rugby team is 2-1 through the first two days of action at OFSAA, taking place in the Durham Region.
Napanee opened the A/AA tournament with a 36-0 win over Lakeshore with tries from Maeve Kennedy, Isabelle McGinnis, Robyn Moffat, Stella Sutton and Carly Uens. Conversions were kicked by McGinnis, Uens and Neeleigh Ford.
This morning they defeated Holy Trinity by a score of 14-10 before dropping a 17-15 match to Centre Dufferin this afternoon.
Games continue this afternoon with the championship round slated to get underway Wednesday morning.
Napanee entered the provincial tournament as the third overall seed.
