Napanee’s senior team was a perfect 3-0 at the tournament, beating Belleville’s St. Theresa Catholic School and Ernestown in their division while the junior Hawks went 1-2 in their tournament action. The juniors opened the regular season on Dec. 5 with tough 65-64 loss to Bayridge and will be back at home to face Frontenac on Dec. 14. The senior boys fell 62-38 to Bayridge in their season opener and will also host Frontenac on Thursday. NDSS’ junior and senior girls volleyball teams both kicked off their seasons with 3-0 sweeps of Granite Ridge and Bayridge.
