The Napanee U11B Cpk Interior Products Stars were busy with three games in three days.  They were shutout out 3-0 in Norwood on Friday, lost 8-1 in Loyalist on Saturday, but rebounded with a solid 4-3 win over Gananoque on Sunday.  In Amherstview, Henry Boyles got the lone tally on a set up by Max Girouard.  On Goodyear ice, facing Gananoque, they gave up two in the first frame although shots on goal were 8-7 Napanee.  In the second, a hard working Marcus Luetchford dug the puck out the corner to set up Hunter Armstrong. Minutes later, Luke Dunn tied the score on a shot from behind the net. Hunter O’Hoski fired a blast from the left circle late in the period, and Ira Bellegarde got the winner moving right to left through the slot.  Gananoque got the lone goal of the third, but the locals played a strong defence to earn the win. Overall shots were almost even with Napanee having a 22-19 advantage.

-The U11D Napanee Stars suffered a 3-0 shutout at the hands of Tweed on Sunday.  Their guests scored once in each period while the Stars did not generate much offence.

-The U13 Goodyear Napanee Stars were 5-3 winners at home to Prince Edward County. They came out strong in the first as Maddux Hartwick scored 47 seconds in.  Walker Presley added to the total, also in the first.  The County tied it up before Presley put them ahead for good, early in the third. Bryson Wilson and Hartwick would add insurance markers.

-The U15 Stars got by Stirling 6-3 with offence highlighted.  Stirling went up 1-0 eight seconds in when a Stars’ defenceman fell.  Callen Wilson tallied a short handed marker moments later as he picked up a loose puck at centre.  Wes Davey restored the lead on a good individual effort. With a 2-2 score, Colten Lockridge and Davey would put the game out of reach, and in the third, Wilson earned his second, and Keegan York came from behind the net with a backhand to finish the Star’s scoring.

-The D&D Electrocraft Napanee U18 Stars lost 3-1 in Ennismore on Friday. Their small barn was an adjustment for the locals, as their hosts scored in each period before Carter Slaven tallied the only goal for the Stars.
