United Way’s Good Food Stand will have a new Napanee location, moving from Napanee District Secondary School to Napanee Area Community Health Centre, effective this Friday.
The move was done in an effort to increase access in the Lennox and Addington area. Good Food Stands appear at locations across Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox and Addington once a month. NACHC is located at 26 Dundas St. W, running from 3-5:30 p.m.
Good Food Stands, which are part of the Poverty Reduction Initiative of the United Way of KFL&A and the City of Kingston, provide fresh produce at reduced prices. No appointment is necessary and anyone in the community is invited to shop at the various locations.
As well as the Napanee Area Community Health Centre, Good Food Stands are located at Regi-Notre Dame Catholic High School, Bayridge Secondary School, Verona Free Methodist Church, Sydenham High School and Loyalist Collegiate and Vocational Institute.
