Members of Greater Napanee Fire Services climbed stairs in full bunker gear at Napanee’s Planet Fitness on Monday, in tribute to the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001. Their goal was to climb 110 steps, the equivalent of the number of steps inside the World Trade Centre. Donations were also accepted, with Napanee firefighters raised $330 for the Canadian Fallen Firefighter Fund.
