After a bit of a slow start to the curling season, Napanee’s Scott Chadwick and his Team Horgan teammates have found their footing, posting an 18-2 record in their last 20 matches heading into the Christmas break.

Their hot streak has included winning their last two World Curling Tour events, the first the Curl Mesabi held Nov. 17-20 in Minnesota and the second the Dekalb Superspiel, Dec. 1-4 in Winnipeg, Man.

Chadwick serves as lead for the team with Tanner Horgan as skip, Jacob Horgan at third, Ian McMillan as second. The team is based out of Sudbury.

Looking ahead to the new year, they have also qualified for the Northern Ontario Provincial Championships, Jan. 23-28 in Little Current. A first place finish there would advance them to The Brier, March 1-10 in Regina.
