MARTIN, Faye
Faye passed away peacefully, with family by her side at Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at age 80. Predeceased by her husband Royce Martin in 2022 and by her parents Bill and Wanda Keech. Dear mother to Kim Martin of Napanee; Michelle Byron (Jeff) of Elginburg and Elizabeth Martin-Shane (Mike) of Richmond, On. Loving Grandmother to Jennifer, Jessica, Jamie Lynn, Kayla, Brett, Trinity and Avery. Great Grandmother to Keyshia, Ronin, Theo and Zoey and great great Grandmother to Reighlynn and Tate. Sister of Anne Clark (Gerald), Joan Link (late David) and Janet MacIntyre (Steve). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Born in Moscow, ON where she met the love of her life in a one room schoolhouse, married him in November of 1964 and built their first home. Years later they built their cottage and then their dream home in Colebrook. Faye conquered learning the guitar at a later stage in life and went on to play and sing at the local country music jamborees. After retirement extensive travel, camping, and walking were favorite pastimes. In the end time spent with family was the most precious gift of all. The family wishes to extend thanks to the staff at KGH, especially David of the ICU and Julia of Connell 9 for their special care. A Celebration of her life will be held at the Hannah Funeral Home in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00. Family and Friends are invited to come and share fond memories and stories. The family asks Memorial Donations be made to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Joe’s M.I.L.L. (Kingston Chapter). Faye will always be loved, forever missed and never forgotten.
