NDCC’s semi annual general meeting and 60 years strong celebration was well attended last Sunday.

Last week the NDCC’s annual Ladies Open, convened by Heather Ramshaw, was another successful event. Teams from Napanee, Quinte and Land O’Lakes (Tweed) competed for the honor of having their names on the trophy. This year the winner was the local team of Gayle Johnson, Sheryl French, Kelly Roantree and Cathy Palmer, followed closely by Debbie Currier, Jam Jordan, Stacey Jones and Angela Kurc, another local team.

Other winners were Carolyn Johnston, Land O’Lakes and Lynda Stock, Quinte.

Meanwhile NDCC’s junior program, held Wednesday afternoons, has 29 curlers so far this season with the more experienced of them curling on Sunday evening.

League directors are now getting ready for the second draw of the season which for most leagues start early January.  Anyone looking to curl in a new league should contact the league director and get their name on their list.
