The Limestone District School Board named its chair and vice-chair by acclamation Monday.
Williamsville and Sydenham trustee Paula Murray will return to the helm for the final year of the board’s four-year electoral term, while South Frontenac trustee Suzanne Ruttan will remain vice-chair.
In a news release issued following Monday’s inaugural meeting, Murray identified priorities including the continued implementation of the board’s new strategic plan, the construction of a new intermediate and secondary school on Kirkpatrick Street in Kingston, and fostering and creating community partnerships.
