The Lennox & Addington County General Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the 25th Annual LACGH Foundation Golf Tournament in support of Keeping Health Care Close to Home, Wednesday Aug. 10 at the Napanee Golf & Country Club.

Since 1996, LACGH’s community and partners have come together to raise close to $750,000 for much needed medical equipment, services and capital improvements for our local hospital. Event organizers are planning for this year to be another tremendous success and raise $50,000 for a gastroscope for the operating room and help to fund other needs within the Lennox & Addington County General Hospital.

“The communities within Lennox & Addington and surrounding area have always shown such great support toward the hospital and Foundation through the annual golf tournament. A great location, great weather and the perfect networking opportunity. It’s nice to finally get back to our regular events and fundraisers and being able to interact with our community,” said Amanda Chalk, program coordinator for LACGH.

This year, we will be joined by golf entertainer, Todd Keirstead, to show off with trick shots and long drives. Keirstead is the founder of ParaGolf Canada and has been featured on the Golf Channel, ESPN, SportsIllustrated and TMZ. Along with the entertainment, the event will host an on-line silent auction that will run Aug. 3- 10, a great raffle opportunity and 50/50 draw for those in attendance. Founding sponsor, Peter Boyer Chev Buick GMC, will also be in attendance again this year with an opportunity for one lucky player to have a chance at the hole-in-one prize.

“Since 1996, Peter Boyer has given participants of the LACGH Foundation Golf Tournament the opportunity to win a new vehicle from his Napanee dealership. Last year, golfer Mike McGrath, one of the last golfers of the day, made that lucky shot and took home a new GMC Terrain. We’re excited to see if this opportunity will present itself for someone else to take home this once-in-a-lifetime hole-in-one prize,” added Chalk.
