L&A Museum unveils new music exhibit, opening Feb. 26

Lennox and Addington Museum and Archives.

The Museum of Lennox and Addington has announced a brand new exhibit, The Beat Goes On, on display starting Feb. 26 through to early September.

Music has the power to bring people together as an expression of shared experiences, fostering togetherness, joy, and cultural connections within households and communities. It can also be a uniquely individual expression of ourselves, offering a solitary refuge. Through this exhibit, the Museum & Archives invites guests to join a nostalgic journey through the universal language that resonates through generations, echoing the timeless melodies of shared experiences and cherished memories. From a travelling cowbell and 1774 violin to photographs of bands and orchestras and more, this exhibit has music gems with stories of their own.

The Museum of Lennox and Addington is located at 97 Thomas Street East, Napanee. Regular hours are Monday-Saturday (closed holiday weekend Saturdays), from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $3/person (free for ages 12 and under).
