KFLA Public Health reports seventh death related to COVID-19, active case count at 220

KFLA Public Health has attributed its seventh death due to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.

The health unit reported 35 new cases on Tuesday, bringing the active case count in the region to 220.

The age ranges of the latest cases were: 5-11 (six), 18-29 (13), 30s (one), 40s (five), 50s (three), 60s (five), 70s (one), 80s (one)

The method of infections were: close contact (six), outbreak related (four), travel (one), under investigation (24).

Sixteen people remain in hospital due to COVID-19, nine in the ICU and six on ventilators.

Three new outbreaks were also declared.
