KFLA Public Health reports eighth death related to COVID-19, active case count at 234

For a second day in a row, KFLA Public Health has reported a death due to COVID-19, the eighth overall since the start of the pandemic.

A total of 40 new cases were reported, bringing the active case count in the region to 234.

The latest cases involve:

under 5 (two), 5-11 (five), 18-29 (10), 30s (nine), 40s (one), 50s (five), 60s (six), 70s (one), 80s (one)
The cause of infections were: close contact (11), outbreak related (five), under investigation (24).Thirteen people remain in hospital, eight in the ICU, six on a ventilator.
