KFLA Public Health reports 85 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, active case count drops to 1,586

KFLA Public Health reported 85 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday-though that comes as the province limits testing to high risk individuals who are symptomatic or at risk of severe illness from the virus.

The number of active cases now sits at 1,586 active, down from 2,316 yesterday (a data clean up moved a number of cases to resolved).

One new hospitalization was reported while one case has left ICU.
One new outbreak was declared.
The ages of the latest cases were: unknown (one), under five (three), 5-11 (two), 12-17 (five), 18-29 (35), 30s (15), 40s (11), 50s (seven), 60s (three), 70s (two), 80s (one).
Method of infections were: close contact (four), under investigation (79), outbreak related (one), travel (one).
