KFLA Public Health reports 16 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, active count at 123

KFLA saw 16 new COVID-19 cases reported on Thursday, bringing the active case count in the region to 123.

The latest cases involve a male under 10, under investigation, a male under 10, close contact, four males age 18 to 29, under investigation, a male 18 to 29, close contact, a male in his 40s, under investigation, a male in his 70s, close contact, two females age 18 to 29, under investigation, a female in her 30s, outbreak related, a female in her 30s, under investigation, a female in her 40s, under investigation, a female in her 70s, close contact, a female in her 70s, under investigation.
Twenty-six cases have been resolved. Thirteen previous cases have been identified as variants of concern.

Two local people are in hospital, one of which in the ICU.

Since the start of the pandemic there have been 1,135 total cases, 1,010 of which have been resolved. Two local people have passed away due to COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
